Registration for the Kids & Company HYBRID MODEL Child Care including Tier 1 Care is OPEN!
STATE UPDATES ON QUALIFYING FOR TIER 1 CHILD CARE
The school-age care for children of critical workers is intended for extreme circumstances in which no parent or guardian is at home, due to employment as a critical worker.
Tier 1 qualifications include requiring two parents or single household families to be Tier 1 employees to qualify.
Critical Workers, who work outside of the home and would otherwise have to leave children unsupervised, will be prioritized higher on a continuum of students needing childcare.
Depending on the number of children in Tier 1 child care, Kids & Company may need to prioritize registrants of Tier 1 which include two parents or single household families. We will give families a 30 day notice if a fee for care will be required.
It is possible that school districts will receive state or federal reimbursement for Tier 1 child care. For this reason, Kids & Company must keep accurate records of students qualifying for Tier 1 child care.
Kindergarten- 1st Grade will begin September 9th and will attend In-Person Learning Monday through Thursday each week, with a Distance Learning Day on Friday. We have created a registration for each school, with a separate registration for those qualified for Tier 1.
2nd- 6th Grade will begin on September 14th with an AA/BB structure including 3 Distance Learning Days per week. You will register for 2 different contracts, if you need care during both in-person and distance learning days.
From September 9th through September 11th, due to the start of the K-1 Hybrid Model, grades 2-6 will attend Distance Learning at Hopkins High School.
Kids & Company is open Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade.
