We are committed to providing our learners with healthy and diverse choices plus nutritional and sensory experiences through education.
We offer foods that are fresh, of high quality, and minimally processed. We strive to increase natural fibers and other natural nutrients while decreasing caloric intakes, saturated and trans fatty acids, added sugars, and starchy vegetables. Our goal is to model lifelong proper eating habits.
Royal Cuisine serves over 4,400 meals each day. We participate in the National School Lunch program, which sets nutritional and serving guidelines. For example, each lunch must offer meat or a meat alternate, fruit, vegetable,, bread or whole grain alternate, and milk. Three lunch choices are offered daily at the elementary level and junior high level and six choices at Hopkins High School.
