Navidad has served as principal of Lowertown Elementary in the Waconia Area Public Schools district and as an assistant principal for Mankato Public Schools at Mankato East High School. In 2015, he served as director of continuous improvement and accountability for Eden Prairie Schools. He also was an assistant principal for Centennial Elementary School in Colorado and was a sixth-grade math and science teacher in Wisconsin and Colorado.
Joseph Adams resides in Saint Paul (Como) with his wife, two sons, and golden lab. He loves to read, travel, cook, play music, dance, and sing. He was Dean of Students at Beacon Academy in Crystal, MN (2017-2019) and English teacher at Park High School in Cottage Grove (2009-2017).
Alyssa Albrecht has been working in the Hopkins Public Schools since 2001. She has worked at Tanglen Elementary as a Special Education teacher and 5th Grade Teacher. She is currently a 4th grade teacher at Alice Smith Elementary.
Tracey Beaverson has been working in the Hopkins Public Schools since 2008. For 8 years she taught 5th and 3rd grades at Alice Smith Elementary and for 2 years she taught 3rd grade at Meadowbrook Elementary.
Kevin Davis currently teaches fourth grade. He is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and received his Master of Arts in teaching degree from the University of St. Thomas. Mr. Davis has been teaching in the Hopkins Public Schools since 2004.
Christina Farrell grew up in the northwest suburbs and attended Robbinsdale Armstrong high school. After high school she attended St. Cloud State University, where she earned a BS in Elementary Education.
Lara Hammer earned her B.A. in Spanish and Studio Arts from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus. She studied abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico and in Mérida, Venezuela and focused on South American literature.
Kimberly Husfeldt has been working in the Hopkins Public Schools since 2001. She originally started her career at Hopkins West Junior High as a special education case manager and work experience teacher.
Allison Hunter has been teaching FLES Spanish in Hopkins Public Schools, at Alice Smith Elementary since 2017. For three years, she taught 3rd grade at an International School in Colombia, South America.
Christopher Johnstone has been teaching in the Hopkins Public Schools since 2001. He has a degree in Mathematics from Bethel College, Mathematics Teaching license though the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and Masters in Special Education with a focus in Emotional Behavioral Disorders from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
James Lekatz has been a music and theater teaching artist for the past 8 year all over the Twin Cities. Most of his teaching has taken place with Stages Theatre Company where he was on staff for 5 years.
Kelly Lindemann earned her BS in Elementary Education, and MA in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Reading Instruction and Multicultural Education. Kelly has worked in the Hopkins Public Schools since 1991.
